Notes
School Rhyme:
The sky is blue
The grass is green
I'm so bored
I miss TV
The board is white
The markers stink
Time is slowing
It's hard to think
The fan is whirling
Chairs are scraping
The bell is ringing...
Whoopee!Time to leave!

Blogging
I have never been crazy about blogs.
I started this blog because a friend asked me if I had one. She said that she was tired of reading nonsense from some other blogs.
(Yes people, this here blog is brainfood. ^__^)
So I thought, why not? I'll try this blog thing
And here it is.
It's a bit like having your own magazine. I'm the chief editor, the sub editor, the photographer and the writer.

Princess Hour
Now that the 'first post' formalities are taken care of... moving on to a more interesting topic.
Princess Hour, also known as 'Gong' in chinese, is the latest Korean Drama to hit Singapore. It has received many reviews. One may note that all the reviews are good.
Where are the bad reviews?
Before any Princess Hour fans start rioting, let me say that the sets are pretty ,the music is nice and the story is so unbelievable it's funny.
Unfortunately, the main female protagonist, is frankly quite annoying.
I have no idea what the actress is like, but I know the character she plays is pretty annoying.
The character acts cute when she whines, acts cute when she's mad and acts cute when she's sad. I understand she is meant to be a 'cute' character, but this is really overdoing it.
As the main character, she needs to be likeable in order to keep people watching the show. (I'm quite sure not everyone likes her character despite what the reviews say)
The storyline is already not much of a brain teaser, so it is the characters that need to bring up the show. Unfortunately, I feel that the characters are bland and the plot predictable.
'My Girl' starring Lee Da hae, Lee Dong Wook and Lee Jun Ki is a much better series. The storyline is less silly and the characters are more likeable. The songs are great too. This is a korean drama where no one dies from an incurable disease; the plot is less typical than most and it ends with a happily ever after.
'Princess Hour' ends semi-happily. I won't go into detail. (so as not to spoil it for those who haven't finished the series.)
As a parting note, I would like to say that this is an unbiased report. Seriously, we should watch 'My Girl' over 'Princess Hour' due to the pure brilliance of the show itself and I'm not being biased.
In no way am I trying to influence anyone's choice of show with this report.
